The early years of a child’s development are essential to the formation of their character, values, and individual potential. Using a Christian curriculum, we focus on building a solid foundation involving these aspects of a child’s life: spiritual development, educational development, social/emotional development, and physical development.
The King’s Kids educational program strives to provide a balanced approach to early childhood education. Academics are essential, but at King’s Kids we base them on an understanding of God and His love for us. We partner with parents in laying a solid foundation of love, trust, and education for each child, preparing them for the exciting challenges which will lie ahead!
Our preschoolers learn to play and work with others. Sharing, taking turns, communicating and expressing wants and needs are social skills that will be used in relationships with other people throughout life. The classrooms are filled with activities that give children opportunities for creative play and success. A theme-based curriculum is used to reinforce ABCs, numbers, colors, shapes, manners, and beginning writing skills. Music, Bible stories, art, and field trips are also used to encourage your child to discover and grow!
Our kindergarten program builds on the same foundation as our preschool. Our kindergarteners participate in hands-on activities which will enhance their individual growth. Phonics, social studies, math, science, history, Bible, music, art, and computer are taught in a step-by-step manner. Extracurricular activities include occasional trips to the Meridian library and field trips.
